Greene Metro Housing

GMHA owns and manages over 200 family units.

These units are unique in that they are dispersed throughout the county. Family units consist of two, three and four bedroom homes, town homes and garden apartments.

All family units have a stove, a refrigerator and washer/dryer hook-up. Families are responsible for all utilities when they move into a GMHA unit.  Most units have a garage or storage area and a nice sized yard. The residents are responsible for their lawn care.

Residents are required to pay rent that is based on 30% of their income. GMHA provides 24-hour maintenance to families year round.

There are 15 two-bedroom homes, 32 three-bedroom homes and 2 four-bedroom homes. Most of the homes in Beavercreek were purchased and rehabilitated. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income or they may select a flat rent. All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

Homes located in Beavercreek are close to many major retailers. Wright State University is located just outside of the city. Beavercreek offers a library, food pantry and many parks and activities such as the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival, for its residents.

Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and manages twenty-one single family units in the Village of Cedarville. Family units are dispersed throughout the village.

There are 12 two-bedroom homes and 9 three-bedroom homes. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income.

All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

Homes located in Cedarville are within walking distance to downtown and many major retailers. Cedarville University is located within the village.

Cedarville, situated in a country setting, offers a library, bike path and activities for its residents.

Fairborn

Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and manages sixty (60) family units in the City of Fairborn. Family units are dispersed throughout the city.

There are (19) two-bedroom homes and (41) three-bedroom homes. The residents are responsible for their utilities and are required to pay rent.  Rent is based on 30% of your income or you may select a monthly flat rent.

All of our Fairborn units have washer and dryer hook-ups, a stove and refrigerator. Most of our homes do have a nice size yard and garage. Our residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

City of Fairborn offers a library, a food pantry and many parks. Lots of community activities such as the Air Show, for its residents.

Homes located in Fairborn are close to many major retailers, as well as, Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The Wright State University is located just outside of the city limits.

Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and manages (72) seventy-two family units in the City of Xenia. Family units are dispersed throughout the city.

There are (32) two-bedroom homes, (36) three-bedroom homes and 4 four-bedroom homes. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income or they may select a flat rent. All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

Homes located in Xenia are close to many major retailers. Central State and Wilberforce Universities and the Greene County Career Center are located just outside of the city of Xenia. Xenia offers a library, food pantry, bike path and many parks and activities such as the Xenia Old Fashion Days Festival, for its residents.

Xenia is the hub for most of the social services available to Greene County residents. Job and Family Services is located in Xenia and provides a wide variety of programs and services to assist individuals with becoming self-sufficient.

There are 11 two-bedroom homes and 8 three-bedroom homes. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income or a flat rent. All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

Homes are within walking distance to downtown and many major retailers. Antioch University is located within the city.

The Villiage of Yellow Springs offers a library, a community center, bike path and several parks. Lots of different activities such as the Street Festival and more are here for the residents.

Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and operates a Section 8 New Construction, 17-unit multi-family development in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

Village Greene is composed of five (5) two-bedroom units, ten (10) three-bedroom units and two(2) four-bedroom units.

Fifteen of these units are nestled in a quiet country setting across from the bike path. These units are also adjacent to Glen Helen, which is a nature preserve.  The additional two units are located within a few blocks of downtown Yellow Springs. These units come with a stove, refrigerator, storage shed and washer dryer hook-up.
