Project Total Quilt Dedication

Project TOTAL (Teaching Our Tenants And Landlords) offered through Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority is an outreach Case Management Program for Homeless Individuals and Families.

The goal of Project TOTAL is to assist homeless families and individuals to find and stabilize in permanent housing and to prevent those at risk of eviction from becoming homeless.

Project TOTAL Case Managers work with families and individuals to find housing and provide intensive follow up and supportive services to help break the cycle of homelessness. Advocacy and mediation is available to clients with landlord-tenant issues. Many resources are involved in the plan for stability.

Tenants
Project TOTAL promotes tenant responsibility through self-sufficiency, individual case management, systems advocacy, crisis intervention, landlord-tenant liaison support, peer-support, basic skill development, information and referral. Follow-up services and supportive services are available to participants of Project TOTAL for a period of three to twelve months. Project TOTAL staff works one on one with individuals to assist them in obtaining their identified goals.

Landlords
Section 8 landlords are important part of the Project TOTAL Program. Monthly landlord meetings help educate and support Section 8 and other interested landlords who rent to Project TOTAL tenants. Regular advocacy and communication with landlords help create successful tenancies.
