| December 4, 2009 - 2:00 p.m. - GMHA’s 2010 Annual Agency Plan!!! Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority (GMHA) has updated its Annual Agency Plan for 2010. It is available for review at GMHA’s office located at 538 N. Detroit Street, Xenia; GMHA’s elderly developments in Fairborn, Xenia, and Yellow Springs; and at the public libraries in Beavercreek, Cedarville, Fairborn, Xenia, and Yellow Springs. GMHA’s hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. In addition, a public hearing will be held on December 4, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in GMHA’s Board Room.
November 5, 2009 - GMHA will stop issuing new Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers!!!
Effective immediately we will not be issuing any more Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers for calendar year 2009. It is a possibility that no vouchers will be issued in the year 2010, but please feel free to check back to see if there are any updates or changes regarding the Section 8 Voucher Program.
Facing the Mortgage Crisis!!!
Facing the Mortgage Crisis launches June 15. Every day through August, ThinkTV will broadcast a series of 10 informative on-air spots, each one answering the questions most frequently asked by homeowners, such as, “Am I in danger of losing my home?” and “Can I get money to help make a payment?” The spots will feature United Way’s HelpLink 2-1-1 as the number to call for assistance.
