Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority owns and manages sixty family units in the City of Fairborn. Family units are dispersed throughout the city.

There are 19 two-bedroom homes and 41 three-bedroom homes. Residents are responsible for all utilities and are required to pay rent based on 30% of their income or they may select a flat rent. All units have washer dryer hook-up, stove and refrigerator. Most homes have a nice size yard and garage. Residents are responsible for the upkeep of their yard.

Homes located in Fairborn close to many major retailers as well as Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Wright State University is located just outside of the city. Fairborn offers a library, food pantry and many parks and activities such as the Air Show, for its residents.
