The following describes GMHA standards for maintaining your lawn
and outside property maintenance in a decent, safe, and sanitary
condition for which you as a GMHA resident are responsible:

and keeping all debris away from the area
- weeding
shrub beds
-

- cutting
the lawn once a week (grass must not stand more than 6" tall)
- raking
and removing leaves
-
no vehicles driven or parked on lawn
- no
vehicle maintenance which is unsightly on lawn or pavement, and
- no
inoperable vehicles are to be stored on properly.
If complaints are received concerning yard maintenance, the following
procedures will be followed:
-
Resident will be notified in writing and given two to three days
to complete the work necessary to meet the above standards.
- After
that period, GMHA will check to see that the work has been completed.
If the work has not been completed, GMHA will do so and the resident
will be billed.
The charge for this work will be: the contractor's charge (contractors
charge is estimated to be $25-$50) plus a $15 administrative fee.
- If
GMHA has to complete this work repeatedly on behalf of the resident,
they will be in violation of the Dwelling Lease Agreement. This
will result in a 30-Day-Notice-To-Vacate to be issued for not
meeting resident responsibilities under the lease.
