May 1, 2008 - GMHA closes Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher!!!

Section 8 HCV accepting applications only for the following: Homeless individual and families - staying in a shelter (emergency or transitional) or living on the street or in a place not meant for human habitation – may continue to apply to the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher wait list.  They will need to turn in a form to document homelessness at the time the application is submitted or the application will not be accepted.  Homeless individuals and families will need to have a GMHA form to document homelessness signed by the emergency or transitional shelter where they are staying. 

Public Housing, Yellow Springs' Village Greene and Sensible Shelter wait lists will continue to be open and accepting applications.
