All applications are available at the GMHA office, during business hours or Application Forms.

Thoroughly complete the application and return it to:

538 North Detroit Street
Xenia, OH 45385

With your application, include the following:

  • Copy of Social Security cards for all family members
  • Copy of Birth Certificates for all family members
  • Picture ID for all family members age 18 or older

Once you have:

  • fully completed and returned the application to GMHA with proper back-up information
  • established that you are within the income limits
  • GMHA has received two acceptable landlord/professional references (for the Public Housing Program)

Then, you will be notified in writing that you have been placed on our waiting list.

You are eligible for GMHA housing if your total gross income does not exceed:

  • 3 People $ 28,650
  • 4 People $ 31,800
  • 5 People $ 34,350
  • 6 People $ 36,900
  • 7 People $ 39,450
  • 8 People $ 42,000

Low Rent Income Limits

  • 1 Person $ 35,650
  • 2 People $ 40,750
  • 3 People $ 45,850
  • 4 People $ 50,900
  • 5 People $ 55,000
  • 6 People $ 59,050
  • 7 People $ 63,150
  • 8 People $ 67,200

There are five eligibility requirements for admission to these programs.

There are also preference considerations for Family, Elderly, Single Pregnant or Single Disabled.
